There are few more aesthetically effective uses for reclaimed timber than in bespoke kitchen design. Reclaimed timber components in a design bring a warmth and softness of age to a kitchen that cannot be achieved with new wood. Reclaimed timber can be combined with other reclaimed materials such as brick, stone and metalwork to further enhance a period feel, or can be combined with young timbers and modern components such as stainless steel to create a contemporary design that works either in a period or a modern home.
Woodgrain Workshop is able to work with you to design a unique kitchen that will fit perfectly in your home, combining new and reclaimed timber as needed along with other materials to create an ideal kitchen for you. Kitchens can either be built from scratch or handmade components can be combined with standard format melamine faced chipboard (MFC) carcasses to save time and money and to overcome some of the possible shortfalls of full solid wood kitchens. If the underlying units are in good condition then existing kitchens can also be refaced can resurfaced, giving a further saving in money. The services Woodgrain Workshops provides include:
