When I set up Woodgrain Workshop I wanted to set a new standard of service in the way that work is designed and priced, giving customers more say over the details of design and greater transparency and fairness in the way quotations are prepared, ultimately supplying greater value for money.

Design process: The only way to ensure complete satisfaction and alignment of expectation is to involve the customer as much as possible throughout the design process. To this end, following initial onsite consultation, design options are created on computer and emailed to the customer for review and selection. At this point the design can change as much as required to meet the aspirations of the customer.

Pricing: Once a design is agreed an estimate or quotation is prepared detailing all materials and joinery tasks required to complete the build and installation. This may seem excessive but it is done to give the customer complete transparency as to how I arrive at a quotation.

All materials and any other overheads are priced at cost and the quotation details how joinery costs are determined, giving you assurance that you are receiving value for money.
